My new book: How to Achieve Financial Success and Independence

I am currently working on a book that covers how to achieve finanical success and independence on your current income. It is really a book the covers all the basic elements of your financial life and what you should and shouldn't be doing.

There are a lot of personal finance books out there, so why did I write this book? I felt strongly that most personal finance books were too wishy washy. I wanted to give people information in plain english. Give concrete examples on how to improve their financial lives right now. No pie in the sky stuff. I wanted something more meaningfull than clip coupons or take your lunch to work. I also wanted to incorporate hands on sections in which the reader puts together a budget, tracks current spending to see if they are overspending, compare budget to actual spending, calucuate current net worth and more. This book is a combination of straight talk about personal finances and hands on activities to get you on track.

Nobody will buy a book that isn't published by a real publisher, right? That's what I throught until a did some research. A lot of great authors and first time authors publish their own books all the time. Turns out these authors are very successful and respected and self-publish by choice. So I am doing just that. Also, I don't have to suck up to some publisher or be conservative for fear they won't publish my book. Also, I'm not doing this to get rich. So I don't care if I sell 1000 books a year or 10,000.
